I am a licensed psychologist in private practice in Bethesda, Maryland. My degrees include Ph.D., and M.A., in clinical psychology from the University of Rochester, and B.A. in child study from Tufts University. I completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in college mental health at the Harvard University Health Service, in Cambridge, MA. My predoctoral internship was at Harvard Medical School/ Massachusetts Mental Health Center, in Boston. Early on, I trained at the Counseling and Mental Health Center at the University of Rochester. I have worked at the George Washington University Counseling Center, and for Arlington County Department of Human Services. I have supervised the psychotherapy of psychology graduate students at George Washington University. Currently I teach workshops on the treatment of eating disorders and self-harm behavior.
